Jenna received her degree in Ceramics at the Alberta College of Art and Design in Calgary Alberta Canada in 2003. She was an active resident in Edmonton’s ArtsHabitat artist live/work spaces and worked for several years at the Alberta Craft Council managing their retail shop and special projects including the Canadian Boutique at the Cheongju International Craft Biennial in South Korea.
In 2010 she chose to return focus to her ceramics and returned to school to complete her MA in Ceramic Design in Stoke On Trent, England, home of the ceramics industries in the UK. The program focused on ceramic design and industry placements alongside business development. During her studies, Jenna was involved in the start up and sales for the programs commercial dinnerware venture, Flux, which saw students designs marketed and sold to retailers around the world from the Maison Object trade show in Paris.
Her ceramics combine processes and techniques from craft and industrial ceramic design.
